Hi All...

Anyone can advise & recommends on which good brand/model for a deep fryer?

Hi,

I am going to explore the Philips Air Fryer. Info here: Philips AirFryer Review
Heard from a mummy that it is good. No oil needed; healthier cooking method.

Anyone has tried it? Any personal reviews/experience to share? Does the food taste "dry" without the oil?

I have colleagues telling me it's good.. I am seriously amazed by how it works. Am thinking of getting one cause my family loves eating fried food! Anyone has any reviews on them?

My sister bought one recently. Food tastes good according to her but cooking time maybe longer than usual. You may need to turn/stir the food during the cooking process so that the food gets cooked/fried evenly. You still need to add some oil if you cooked fresh/raw food. Only processed food like nuggets, french fries, etc. do not need additional oil.

I tried some french fries at a Philips Airfryer demo recently: the fries were a bit overcooked and dry! The cooking compartment is rather small and maybe suitable to serve small portions to a small family/crowd unless you use it multiple times for a single dish; not very efficient if you need to cook more or cook quickly.
