Roseola

Hi, anyone have any experience in managing roseola rash in 9 month old baby. My boy suddenly breaks out in rashes yesterday, today pd confirmed its roseola & send us home. My boy seems to be affected by the itch..crying and rubbing his tiny feet coz itchy..Dunno how to help him...:elvis:

did the doctor gave anything? My son had it when he was about 14 months old. I don't remember what we did exactly. But I remember the doctor gave a special bodywash for his bath time. Sorry I don't remember the name.

Roseola which is a viral usually happens after a spike of fever from viral infection n the temp have subsided. Did u son develop a fever before that? It shouldn't b itchy though

Maybe you can apply calam lotion (don know the spelling). It will ease the
itch, my son have it when he have fever too. And I apply on him and he is
not itch after that.

Calamine lotion.

The rash should disappear on its own after a few days.
