Sex during pregnancy?

Is it safe to have sex during pregnancy? I saw some post about safe sex positions during pregnancy. Any mummies have sex with your partner during pregnancy? My mum told me better not to have sex during pregnancy cause very risky.

At 2nd trimeSter then abit active... n0w at 3rd trimeSter i d0ne dare.. aS my cervix haS dilated.. Scared p0p.. hehe.. :cool:

Would your tummy feel tight or a lil uncomfy after sex? I do feel tummy uncomfy after sex. Quite worried.

I'm in my 25th week now and I'm still making love very regularly! I think it is due to hormone change, but sometimes I notice my sex drive increasing. Haha! In the beginning, first trimester, I used to have blood spotting after sex, and my gynae told me that the tissue outside my uterus had torn, so I had to wait till after first trimester before starting again just to avoid miscarriage. And yes, my tummy feels tight too! Hahaha!

Me too will feel tight. But tummy big very restricted. Plus there was once when ML my leg cramp ! Omg. Any comfortable positions ?

My sex drive also increased since pregnant! My mum says pregnant cannot do it when she sees my book on pregnancy that has pics on positions recommended... then naughty me retorted saying we always doing it! U should hv seen her face... :x :p

We dun always do it la.. Haha.. But was more active in second trimester too..

Hahahaha! Felicity, my MIL is also the very traditional chinese kind. She would scold me if she saw me lying on my tummy or if my husband brought me fishing. And my hubs also always retort back at her, and she'll have a very constipated expression. :/

Janellebb, I googled quite a few websites and they all said the same thing. I checked with my gynae as well, and he says it's fine. So shouldn't be a problem! :)

I was so worried cause everytime after sex my tummy will feel weird weird. I dont dare to ask my gynae or mum. I think its kind of awkward to ask them such things! Haha. Yup, i saw other websites too. Makes me feel much more relieve after reading them! So i guess its safe to have sex druing pregnancy.. Maybe just dont too hard. Hahaha.

I feel a lot more sensitive after getting pregnant. Just the slightest thought or touch from my hubby can make me super aroused. However, I think there's a phobia of me having sex as I would tense up so terribly when he tried to insert, I end up becoming like a virgin. LOL. Poor hubby, I'm always the one who wants to make love but he always says no. Yet when he gives in and tries, I get so scared and uncomfortable, we end up doing nothing. I actually quarreled with him a few times over this issue becos he always makes me feel aroused but he keeps asking me to wait till after i give birth then have sex. So annoying you know! I want to satisfy him, he also don't allow. I don't know where he gets his self control from, since we were very active in having sex prior to my pregnancy. o_O" tsk!!
