Shoes for baby - brand new or preloved?

Hi all,

My friend is passing down her boy's shoes to my son.
I'm wondering if preloved shoes would affect the child's feet development (read somewhere it does).
Maybe mommies whose baby has worn preloved shoes can share their thoughts on this?

my boy wears combi shoes. if buying used ones, make sure you try it on your baby. don't buy too tight / loose. buy size that is just right for your bb.

when learning to walk it's best to let him walk barefoot. of course when outside my boy wears shoe.

my boy has alot of shoes! i so crazy bod so many!

when learning to walk should be barefooted....

preloved shoes are good in a sense tat they are worn be4...so it wont feel uncomfy wearing it...unlike new shoes...wont get blisters or anything....

but u need to check any parts at the soles like if it has been worn off....whether the soles are even...before u can try them on yr son. Otherwise if one part is worn off (like crooked one side) will affect the feet development.

hey thanks prettybb and CanCanMum for sharing your thots...gd pointers :)
Now I know what to look for in baby shoes.
prettybb, im sure i'll go gaga over shoes when my son starts to walk too, hehe
