Society, NPO and Charity for young single parents and their children

While proceeding with the society formation,
Sorry I have few qns, pls bear with me

1.) The society deliverables as:
Financial aids
Accomodation
Employment /empower skill training
Establish social network to form nuclear family
Support researching purposes, right?

2.) How will this society tie in with the multi-agency approach to Single Motherhood previously mentioned?

4.) How is the brain storming session with the "comittee"

3.) Can you assist to remind any charter/scope at this point in time?

We have now, Me, 2 friends, Mag_Huiling, JoyBliss, Huiping85, Siling87, happymummyo7, 7LegSotong, Ting, LYNN.

Will send out society constitution and membership forms tonight.

Correct. Phase one objectives are listed. They might change when we register as a charity and get put under supervision of MCYS.


2.) How will this society tie in with the multi-agency approach to Single Motherhood previously mentioned?

I will update the members to the development with other agencies, next meeting with them is due this coming Tuesday.

3.) How is the brain storming session with the "committee".

It is still in line with previously released scopes, will have more info after my meeting on Tuesday....

We are now working on the mentoring/guidance programme for the shelter....

I need help from mummies here on a detailed breakdown on the cost of raising a child every month, from newborn to 2 years old.....

the cost starts when u know u are pregnant. from gynae check up to preparing the child into the world..

Yupps, For that, I have the details of the costs involved.
Trying to collect data on the post pregnancy costs....

I got from my co-worker in the office:
Considering non BF....
First year:

1 month:
Milk: 4 cans *$35 formula
Diaper: 2 Big packs ~ $40
Medical: ~ $70
Nanny: $500 (Day time only)
Misc: $50

Not including vaccinations, for the first year, each month costs around $800....

Does this sound like a correct figure?

honestly, i really dun rmb~

u still gotta include baby clothings, milk bottles, washing n bathing neccessities, n many more misc items..

Hi everyone, I came across this forum through google. I am a single mother with a 7 year old son. I am keen to be a member of the society. Can anyone advise me how is it to be done. Please do pm me.

Personally, as a single mother, I feel that there is a growing need of support for these single parents.
