TMC doesnt give out bath tub. at least not for my case. i delivered at 2009 june, nv receive any bath tub and nv heard of it too. so far only heard tt Mt A gives out bath tub.I heard Thomson Medical Center got give free baby bath tub too. I dont know bout gleneagles thou.
Nope TMC dun give bath tub like what the apollo said. it is Mount A that give bath tub. I went gleneagle hospital tour was told they will give small gift but it varies from times to times.. so cant really tell what they give. but for sure is they dun give as much as TMC :tlaugh:I heard Thomson Medical Center got give free baby bath tub too. so the small gift is really small :tlaugh:yah they told me, if we want bb to wear mitten, booties we need to bring them cos they dun provide at all and all bb are treated the same... no color theme clothes etcGlenE dont provide anything. Even baby's clothes, you have to bring your own to change in. They only loan the baby shirt during stay. If you want your baby to wear mittens/booties/socks during the stay, you have to bring your own too.
The small gift is referring to the bag of love or something liddat?

Ya, the baby shirt is on loan. The nurse will make sure u return the shirt when bb n u are discharged, lol.Loan baby shirt during stay????
As i'll be giving birth in Mt A, do i need to bring my own baby clothes during the stay or do they provide?
Also, any idea if the nurses there (as in Mt A) will teach you how to bathe the baby and BF the baby???:nah:Thanks.
i dunno abt Mt A, but for TMC, they didnt teach me how to bath bb but the senior staff nurse was v good, she taught and guide me along on hw to bf ds, v patient.Loan baby shirt during stay????

yes they do provide complimentary classes during hospitali dont know about Mt A, but for Thomson Medical Center, they didnt teach me how to bath baby but the senior staff nurse was very good, she taught and guide me along on hw to bf dear son, very patient.
as for teaching baby bathing i not sure whether the parentcraft got teach anot cos thruout the stay i didnt attend hehe..
during the stay, hospital will provide the clothes. i'm sure Mt A also. but for discharge, though Thomson Medical Center provide clothes, mitten etc.. but i still prefer dear son to wear the set i brought, cos the set they gave is brand new, have not wash before.. :001_302:
I deliver my 1st at Kkh last year, they gave me quite alot of stuffs. Got free diapers samples from diff brands, sample milk powder for bb n mother, got a learn to drink cup, lotsa magazines lol. Oh ya,got bibs too!!but no bath tubhow about KK hospital?
edd in about 10 days time.
I think this depends on luck too. My 1st delivery at GlenE, I had 1 extremely unsympathetic nurse. For my 2nd delivery there, I was more or less left on my own to bf cos they thought i was experienced (lol! I only bf my elder kid for 1 mth), but I was lucky to get the help of 1 very experienced staff nurse.Oh! Anyway I will be bringing my own set for my baby hehe so it's ok.. To me most impt is their service is good!
yah i think luck play a big part...for all hospital. there is no guarantee good service.I think this depends on luck too. My 1st delivery at GlenE, I had 1 extremely unsympathetic nurse. TRUE!!! it depends on individual's expectation too. some pin too high hope, set too high expectation, thus they feel tt the expectation is not up to standard. :tlaugh:yah i think luck play a big part...for all hospital. there is no guarantee good service.
Hopefully my 1st experience at Thomson Medical Center will be a good one :tlaugh:
