I have hair growing around my belly button too..in both pregnancies,#1 was son,now having a daughter inside.. I heard ppl said b4 too if got hair on tummy = boy too,but this current pregnancy is CONFIRMED a girl.. Haha I guess it's actually mother's hormones, not baby's gender..

i 4got to say,not only tummy turning hairy,my limps too.. gonna need a good waxing session on my arms, armpits n legs after confinement to get rid of all that ugly hair.. currently juz shaving my armpits cuz will smell when hair turns long,nv had that b4 pregnant..cant shave my legs anymore as i cant really bend so much nowadays with a big belly..

itchiness is something i'm nv lack of since pregnant, esp during 2nd n 3rd trimesters for both pregnancies.. during my 1st pregnancy,i still tot its skin allergy.. it might be ur skin is dry,try apply moisturizers.. stretch mark cream wont help the itch,i feel it made it worse as its sticky to my skin.. i usually take my normal warm showers then a rush of cold water when im done to keep my body from itching.. i use my normal nivea body moisturizers on whole body, din itch after applying..

The nurse told me could be allergy to cocoa butter but I checked my Mustela stretch mark cream - no cocoa butter. And the itch started as early as 5 weeks, before I cfm my pregnancy. I am so at a loss of how to stop the itch, dun dare to use those stop itch cream that I use for mosquitoe bites etc coz scared not gd for bb.

I only know during pregnancy, our body become v sensitive to everything, our skin too..my skin I figure out it's dry due to pregnancy..u try find out wats urs..if allergy, can be food tat u eat or even ur body foam/shower cream, shampoo or certain clothes material, bedsheet or dust..i find royal jelly itchy to my skin too,was using royal jelly shower gel back then..

I'm another hairy woman!for my 1st pregnancy too, I had a boy. This time round I don't know yet,but at 12 week ultrasound it looked a bit more like a boy but the sonographer said it's still really hard to tell at this stage. Will have to wait and see in 6 weeks time.

Haha waxing after pregnancy done can remove the hair totally. I had waxed off my tummy hair lately,it nv grow back,2mths after #2 baby borned.not really waxed but sticked my slimming patch on my belly button, hair was around it,when I take off my patch,I realized my tummy hair all on the patch haha.almost same thing happened after i had my #1.best time for unwanted hair removal is 2-6mths after child birth as perm hair lost is more likely to happen due to hormones changing back. Haha juz sharing my experiences.note that it will only grow back n even more when u r pregnant as hormones r increasing.
