We r headache abt where to hv the full month celebration for dd.
dun wish to hold it at home cos house is not big n relatives alot.
Kindly share yr ideas but not too X. tks.

I hold my boy's full month at my friend's condo function room..
Most of my friend does that also...
Usually the function room in condo are foc for condo flat owners..
Do you have friends that stay in condo?
Maybe can ask them?

If you have club can use club funtion room?
Or Community Club near your house.
Have it at the garden/park or smth near your house.
Where do you live?
If not like what Janice said your friend's function room is one option.
If i m not wrong you can book the void deck and you can decorate and use it.Like tat also more convenient just go back house to take stuff and all.

stay in sengkang. wanted to book at the void deck but hubby n my mum dun like it cos tat day someone juz passed away and place there.:err:

I booked a club function room. Had a buffet lunch and they had tables for people to sit at. Total price came up to $1k plus. I catered for 50 people.

oh, another idea which you can try but not sure if your parents like it is bbq cum buffet at East Coast Park/Pasis Ris Park!!

I personally like Pasir Ris Park bec it's less crowded...

It's fun for the kids and the bbq pit is not expensive..

You can even hired someone to bbq for you if you don't want to bbq yourself..

dun think they like bbq. still prefer cater buffer but location is a problem. sigh.
This is our 2nd kid, Dh actually juz want to give out cakes but relatives r v big so not easy to go door to door n not nice to ask all to come one hse to collect also. headache.

how abt aranda country club : Aranda Country Club.

we came up abt 1K to cater abt 80pax.
if u are ntuc member, then it be cheaper.
but pay an upfront deposit of $200 if confirm booking.
the disadvantage is that cant order outside caterer.

How about Punggol park?? Can just celebrate there.
Or there are those roof top garden kinda thing can have it there.Not sure if your block has it but i know quite a few of the new blocks have it.

In my opinion and places i went for full month celebration, u can go

1) chalets, then catered food
2) Condo function room,
3) Someone's house (ur relatives and close ones) who is big, like bungalow or appartment
4) Poolside restarants
5) Company function rooms (if it can be extended to use for pte function)
6) Community centres.
7) hotels
8) restaurant function rooms

Hehe... this is what i know... if can thik of better place, will update again =)
