White spots found on my baby's skin

Hi my girl is coming to six mths. Initially there are two white spots found on her back. But lately her buttock is getting more n more white spots, is abt the size of ten or twenty coin. It look like 'pei tio' (in hokkien) but is not. It seem like spreading around her buttock which worry me. Any gals out there come across such skin problem with ur babies?

Just went this afternoon, dr said is fungus. Need to apply cream. Hope the white spots will disappear soon.
