Hi, do you mind telling us where she's from. If a first time mum goes to her.. and she gives that kind of service.. then she's a nightmare.. It's not as though you're getting free advice.. You paid for her expertism..This private gynae I have been seeing at Mutual HealthCare for Women speaks to her patients in a certain manner when she is feeling tired.
Recently I went to see her for a follow-up. I asked her a list of questions that had been accumulating in my mind since I dont get to see her every month. She replied in a very tired manner & had this "Why are you asking this question? Are you done???" kind of look plastered on her face the whole time. When I asked certain questions, her reaction was less than positive. She said sarcastically to me "I thought you are an expert by now?" To which I wanted to reply the following but did not "If from mere reading of net articles, I can become an expert, let us exchange places & lemme earn big bucks."
Later on, she even remarked in an unpleasant manner "I think you are reading too much!"
What is wrong with patients asking questions? Especially when they are fully paying patients??? I pay for the amount of time I am in the room so I believe I deserve professional service. Unfortunately, I did not get it. And anyway, there was only 1 patient after me.
I would like to know if gynae should take a look at our BBT chart. I showed her mine & she was not the least interested in looking at it. In fact, she pushed her chair further away from me & turned away elsewhere.
Terrible gynae. So yaya papaya & totally unprofessional. Do a lot of gynae behave in this manner?
