It's normal. I'm at 12thweek & still no bump coz previously I threw up q excessively so haven't been putting on weight. It's ok, we can catch up in 2nd tri. =)

I m going into my 13th week and I have a bump! But I dun think it's the baby coz the sonographer ultrasound a different part of the tummy.. so it's probably bloat and lack of exercise :(

My First pregnancy.. the bump only obvious started from 16th Week.. and for the first trimester I lost 2kg cause lost appetite. Start from 2nd till delivery.. had been putting total of 18kgs. I gained my last 10 kg within my last 2 months.. Keep my finger cross that this pregnancy will gain much weight ><

Thanks ladies. So far I only threw up twice prolly due heavy dinner. Nausea on & off...didnt gain much...less than a kg I think. Will only weigh during gynae visits for accuracy.

Hi rav3naers, thanks for the reply. Dr Anita is a pro with high risk pregnancy, as written in her biography in NUH website. Therefore, I believe like what you mentioned...in good hands.

@ Lishan & Sheepsdream.....Hi, thanks for replying. I think you are right. Ultrascan is much much friendlier. If can avoid both test will better. LoL.

Hello mummies to be,

I'm expecting my first and EDD is 08 Nov 2013. Has anyone started doing prenatal yoga? Thinking of trying out the studio in Tanjong pager this coming Thursday at 7pm. Is there a facebook page up & running? May i still join? :)

Finally got my Oscar results back! So glad everything is alright & low risk!

Anyone need to take a lot of supplements? I have folic acid, iron, calcium & fish oil! 4 pills to take & I hate swallowing tablets! Makes me gag... :wong16:

Sheepsdream - that's good news. It's now time to enjoy the second trimester :) Did u take supplements recommended by your gyne? I'm on this blackmores pregnancy n breastfeeding multivitamins. It's like taking everything at one go (or two- coz I take one in the am n pm each). My gyne just say OK as long as I m getting vitamins.. no more comments or prescriptions :s

Lishan> ya.. All these are given by gynae to take. I think as long as your gynae says ok, it should be sufficient. I read from other forums that fish oil should start from week 20 but I'm not there yet.. Think every gynae seems to be very different in terms of the supplements they prescribe.. Some just vitamins & folic will do. Others like mine give everything.

But I'm glad I'm at 2nd tri now! Be gone, MS! I want my energy level & appetite back!

Re: yoga

wow! u gals r very active! my no 1 had been down with flu last 2 weeks n i caught it from her as well. she has almost recovered now but not me.. :(

savethebirds> i went for prenatal yoga during my 1st pregnancy n i found it really relaxing n helpful.
i used yoga breathing technics to help me during my childbirth as i found it to be more helpful than using the breathing technics from prenatal class from hospital..
erm.. but i gave up when i was 7cm dilated n opt to use epidural becoz i was worried i will be too tired to push baby out by the time i was fully dilated.
hope i will not need to use epidural for my no 2.. cross my fingers..
