As to make baby feel better...I'm not sure if it applies to you but I used to hear my child's phlegm in the throat the moment I switch on the ac at night so mostly just on the fan.

Don't worry about it. Its normal! My son experienced exactly the same thing when he was 3 weeks old. I was also thinking the same as you that he has some phlegm in the throat. He used to breathe awkwardly as well. Different sounds used to come always but it feels they have phlegm...
Seems like restless as he is sleeping for a min or so. Well, we just have to try out different methods then to calm him down.
Maybe you can try giving him a warm bath...dim the lights at night so he can differentiate between day and night...if your ac is on, so dress him in full...including...
Don't worry Mummy. It happens when they are a bit restless. Sometimes pacifiying him in any way won't work. You can try cuddling him close to your arms, rock gently and sing some lullaby songs. It does work at times!
