Doc says the sooner the better, he asked us not to wait for 6 months to 1 year.. IUI at the clinic where I am going costs 7k per cycle.. Does anyone know if it costs lesser anywhere else?Thanks for ur reply BabyLew.. The doc is suggesting to try 2 cycles of IUI before IVF.. Doc put me on clomid, triggered egg release this month ( though I was O-ing on my own).. Not sure if it helps for POR.. I am also doing yoga, drinking wheatgrass juice, eating wheat germ, taking c-Q10 to see if it helps.. Waiting for results.. Will check with SGH as many of u suggested here.. IUI should cost around $3-$4k at the most, and that's for SO-IUI (superovulation). IUI with Clomid will be much less.
Ya, nostalgia, 7k for IUI , including medicines for SO and 13k-15k for IVF.. I am going to pte clinic at Mt. Elizabeth.
I'm with Dr Loh for my 1st SO-IUI since the failure of my IVF late last year .. My 1st purogon was on 12 Feb & to date, I have spent about $$2.4K on purogon, consultation & scans. I aint responding well so the dosage has been increased from 50iu -> 75iu -> 100iu --> 150iu and now I am on my 4th day of 175iu .. its costly but still I don expect 7K for IUI. Its ridiculously expensive.

7k is too expensive.. I've spent only $1.8k plus for my 1st iui (75iu), then I'm now on my 2nd iui, $1.8k plus also (75iu>100iu) with scans and consultation already.. It's at Raffles Hospital, I'm seeing Dr. Sheila Loh, fertility specialist.. she told me before estimate cost is $2.5k.. But we only spent $1.8k.. You can just call Raffles and ask for an appointment with Dr. Sheila Loh so could start your iui right away..of course, some pre-checks are needed like bloodtest, HSG, etc.. Baby dust to us!!

Babylew, I am doing my FET soon...Its a natural cycle according to the doctor. Will be doing it on March 16. Second day of my menses.
hi liz, are you taking purogon? how much are you paying per vial if you are on purogon? my dosage is quite high, hence the hefty cost ~7k is too expensive.. hi makino, yes it's puregon. 1st iui, only 75iu.. then on 2nd iui, it's 75iu then went to 100iu..
