MY block last time got Arrhh sohh selling eggs door to door~~
as well as red bean/green bean soup
and their fried vermicelli is simply DELICIOUS~~~

we draw on a pc of paper or back of those peel off chinese calender paper

my castle and your castle

den use a pencil mark a dot

put finger on the tip and push the pencil

den got one line come out rite?

see who reaches the enemy's castle first

Got other things I can remember:
- Always after recess need to take toothbrush and brush at the drain...
- Young Generation Magazine
- Storybooks like laydbird, Bookworm....
- KFC still use fork and knife and proper plates.... Not the disposable kind
- Airport Terminal 1 Mcdonald's got the automatic hand washer
- When it rains I go to school with raincoat and slippers then change into proper shoes when I reach school
- Card games like Happy family, Old Maid, Donkey, Snap... really made my day

Oh yeah, i do that for my kids, they so paiseh but i said what paiseh....last time mummy like this ok. :tlaugh:And YES, I was even a bookworm club member last time. So excited when the crew performed skits on school stage.


Last time also, we got to place order to milk. Could choose, strawberry or choc ones too before stock came.

And yes in Pri school, would always hv to order the school milk, it used to be like the triangle or pyramid shape? And brush teeth by the drain

Wahahahaha... My mother forbid me to use tampons lorr... She say use tampons liao no man will marry you.... She say she will only allow me to use tampons only after I get married. Wahahaha.

Also missed old school playground. esp the see-saw, merry go round and swing. Somemore, like wood and metal made ones. Now where got liddat one. Child falls down on this current playground oredi, parents panic like xiao. Just imagine if present playground most of the equipment are made of wood and metal, when the child falls down, parents will have heart attack.

Kids now so lucky coz playground now like so 'cushioned' and safety-protected BUT they are not as rugged as kids like we used to be.
