I use drapolene for preventive and desitin around the anus part. used to use desitin but the cream so thick difficult to wash off.

:)

So far using drapolene no rashes - touch wood. But most important still is change diapers more frequent or as soon as it is soiled. I try to change every 3 hours - depends on bb age. when sleeping at night i try to change longest is 5 hours.

I've used only desitin since baby was born.... 20 months ago....

very good for preventing rash.

cures existing rashes in 1 - 2 days....

very good stuff.... no side effects so far....

It is not considered expensive since one tube can last a long time.....

btw..need to apply the barrier cream inside the vagina lip there? my baby is gal...sometime see inside her vagina lip there abit red..

densitin is better. my confinement lady strongly recommend this. But it's much more expensive compared to drapolene. Another alternative will be benpathen by Johnson & Johnson also not bad. The texture is thicker comapred to drapolene. Densitin good to use during their first few months old, i think. Long term, too ex

Till now my gal 13mths liao i'm still using it...although more exp compared to drapolene but it's worth the price...

I read alot of raves on Desitin, but seems like alot of Guardian out-of-stock.

My babygirl is using both Drapolene & GAIA.
Started out with Drapolene, quite good.
Then tried GAIA, it's even better, for red patches.
So I'm using GAIA when at home, Drapolene when I'm out.
