Hello everyone!
been too busy handling DS1 n no time to pop by here!

My amino test turns out fine n im expecting a BB BOY AGAIN!-.-"
Dr say DS2 seems to b on e bigger side.-.-"
Might need to go for OGTT when i hit 28wks.

Hi mummies,

I just had my detailed scan... It's confirmed a boy.. Now @ 340gm Baby everything is fine but his kidney are abit big. My gynae will be refering me to a prof to check again on baby"s kidney... to confirm everything is fine. Gynae told me that this is actually very normal in baby boy.

I had my glucose test today also.. Was given a bottle of glucose to drink.. The drink for me at 1st no too bad.. Taste like 100plus.. After finishing the bottle.. Wa feel like puking .. Waited for one hour for the test.

My detailed scan last for 15mins.

Mine is head big! 大头！ haha.. My bb head size is within the allowance tolerance (5-95 percentile).. But he is way high up at the 90% mark. Which means averagely, his head is the top 10% biggest among all the babies. Anyway we predicted cos my hubby family side, their heads are relatively bigger. That's y I have been contemplating on C Sect since day 1 I'm preggy. When my MIL gave birth to my hubby naturally that time, her 1 month confinement was in hospital because her wound cant heal. She says she has been asked to sit in those antiseptic liquid the whole 1 month, so she dun really believe that can't shower during the confinement cos she was soaking in water everyday then. My bb is 369g last Friday.

Thanks! Hehe wa.. Big baby leh.. Ur baby is heavier than mine big head babies very smart one .. Hehe ...mine baby head is about 17.8cm. Baby" eyes very big like my hubby.

But mine suffer quite alot of this matter. It's very heart breaking during tat period. Won't tell u in details as diff ppl have diff situation. Now my boy is fine. Juz need to go back to his pd every 4 mths for checking

Haha jofeny. May be u can consider c-sect if not I sacred ur labour hrs will be Long. But nvm still long can still consider abt it may be by then the head is proportioned le.

The moment when I saw the measurement difference i know something is wrong.. Then when gynae.. mention abt 2nd option ( he refers to he will refering me to specialist to do the scan one more time. My tears start dripping.. Gynae keep telling me that this is not a major problem. He was telling me due the pressure inside the tummy that's why kidney looks bigger. Left 5.6mm right 5.5mm. I feel abit affected cos" maybe now a MTB feel the hurt even when abit of issue consider her own child.

I am okie after that. I have strong faith in my little boy & myself. I am still postive .. I know things will improve as baby grow.
Gynae was telling me usually it happens on boy cos" of the urinal tube something like that.

I know how you feel.. Hugs... don't worry .. There"s a will .. There will be a way ! I love my prince!

What is the measurement of your boy"s kidney, can you share with me pls ?

They realise the kidney size still one big n small. Mine more serious. His one side is 5mm n another is 13mm. Quite huge difference. Now reduce abit le. As long as never carry on grow big I am happy le

Ya Huafen, that's what I'm afraid of too. But of cos c sect has it's own set of problems.. So it's lesser of 2 evils..

Where did u take your detailed scan? I took mine at TMC.

I looked thru my report like never mention the size of my baby kidneys leh.. Hmm.. Got head, heart, tummy n leg length. Only show picture of 2 kidneys only.
