Hi, jus wondering is ur stomach showin? mine stil a bump not that obvious yet. comin to my 4th mth soon. Last visit to gynae was when 14wk plus n bb measure 8.1cm.

Hello Everyone,

How's every mummy doing? Our thread has quietened down so i thought of writing and say Happy New Year to all EDD June Mummies. Hope everyone is feeling much better and enjoying their pregnancy. I have gain 2.5kg and into my week 17 soon. Cant wait to go for detailed scanning to know if my baby is a prince or princess. Take care everyone!!!

Congratulations maneo0302, you must be very happy and your in laws will be very delighted too. : ) I cant wait for 1st feb so that i can have my detailed scanning to know the gender. Went to gynae at week 16, he say still cant see. Maybe he is too rush that day coz as usual Dr Adrian is a very chop chop doc. And my next visit to him is only on 9 feb. Now the visit has changed to once a month. I feel it's so long. haha.

Thank you marchbear83. My hubby and my parents are very happy. Not too sure about in-laws cuz i seldom chat with them. But they didn't show their happiness. :(
I also saw the organ in week 12th. My gynea says might be a boy. But can only confirm in week 16th.
There are alot of male gyneas. But I'm more comfortable with female one. I will deliver in Mt. Alvenia. How abt you, marchbear?

This week, it will be my 17 weeks too. I have yet to find out the gender of my baby but I reckon in the next visit to the gynae on the 20th, it would be made known to me. Either gender is fine with me and my better half so long the baby is healthy.

After much read up, i saw it's only best to do pre-natal massage after 5th month and you have to find those that are specialised in pre-natal massage as i heard they are not suppose to massage the tummy. 2.How are you doing your confinement? Are you getting a Confinement lady? You have someone in your family to do it for you or you are doing it yourself with the help of a maid? Or there are other better alternative? I am intending to employ a maid to help my mother in law with housework and my mother in law will help to look after the baby. Since my in laws are vegetarian, i can't get a confinement lady to cook for me although i am non vegetarian. I intend to cater from the confinement food catering for 5 weekdays and my mum will cook for me on the weekends and bring it up to me. This is the best solution so far for my situation.

3.What are some of the tonic recommended for consumption that is beneficial to yourself and baby? Can't comment much as I have not started consuming tonic yet as i am waiting for my mum to cook for me when she is free. Currently I am taking enfamama milk, multvits and fish oil from gynae.
4.I have not started doing any planning for the coming baby. Am i late? dont't worry, I have not do much planning too, just taking it slowly first as I do not want to stress up too much. I only intend to get my baby stuff when I know my baby's gender. : ) By the way, there is a baby expo fair in april next year. Probably can get some good deals there.

Thanks marchbear83 for the advice. I am in my 18 weeks now and can feel the sight fluttering movement from baby.

Before i was pregnant, i go for massage on a weekly basis. I have stop going for massages ever since i know i am pregnant and i feel so moody when i have slight backache and i can only get hubby to do some light massage for me (which i don't feel shiok as previously i always go for thai massage that crack every parts of my body)

I have heard lots of negative feedback on confinement lady and hence i am still hesitant about it.

Hi Maneo0302, I am also intending to deliver in Mt A. When is your EDD? Week 12 can see the little organ already? That's really very fast. Mine in week 12th during the scan at Thomson also can't see. The sonographer didnt say anything. Hope in Week 20th my baby will cooperate and open leg let me see. Hahaha.

Hi pixie, I am also into week 17 now. So most likely we have about the same EDD. For me i also just pray for healthy baby. Boy or girl also our child so must love as much too. : )
Take care too and keep us updated on the gender once you find out. : )

Hi Hist3ph,

I also feel fluttering sometimes but I do not know if its my baby moving or my stomach rumbling for food coz it's my first pregnancy hehehe.

i also missed the massage session. Now cannot go massage and like you backache can only ask hubby to massage and sometimes he is so reluctant hahaha...anyway not shiok like u say. But I went for a foot massage last week with the masseur which i know he knows how to massage pregnant lady. He use very light strength although better than nothing, i still think original strength more shiok and effective. So now we can only wait till after give birth then can have a good massage to treat ourselves.

I heard confinement lady better to get one that someone you know has used before. If just call up anyone, chance are they are not so good, : )

Hi marchbear! how are u? Me too... getting very bad backaches recently.. I think tats bcos of uterus expansion? Yeah my physiotherapist also told me no massage- she say it may cause premature contractions..

I thought I felt the fluttering last night but it could be my imagination ahaha. First baby really dunno wat to "feel" for..

I also tried asking Woody the gender.. he say "nothing btw the legs, but pls dont start shopping yet"... His scanner is soooo old, I think I can wait till 20week scan then know gender more accurate... True, boy or girl also our precious, but I can't wait to start the shopping! LOL

Hi Px22, so long never see you here on this forum. I asked Woody the gender he say too small to see yet. So i guess i will wait till the detailed scanning on the 1st feb. Me too cant wait to start shopping. Although my mum has already bought some neutral colors baby clothings from bangkok which was much cheaper and also she has ordered a baby cot due to stock limited. : ) When is your detailed scanning? Must keep us updated k. Take care.

yeah marchbear.. didnt log on for long time cos i tot the forum was pretty quiet.. My detailed scan after CNY, so wont get to know so soon.. There was one night when I was talking to bb and i said "BB.. u must open leg big big show mummy whether u boy boy or girl girl, or else mummy cannot buy pretty clothes for u ah!" The same night I dreamt it was a girl! hahahah
DH keep insisting tat we only start shopping after knowing the gender 100% since Woody's scanner really "low definition".. One scan pic was so blur i had to go back in the room to ask him which is the head? LOL
Heard there is a baby fair in March in Taka.. maybe we can start doing a list first and wait till the fair...

Oh. There's a fair in Taka? That's great. I will wait for the fair b4 I do any shopping!
Though the gynea confirm that its a boy boy, I still have not started shopping yet. I think I will wait till end of this month, after i go for the detail scanning. :)

Hi Ladies,

There will be a baby expo fair in end April. I can't remember the exact date but I'm sure it's on Singapore expo event details website. Check it out.
