HI crystal! I thought 5 weeks should be able to at least see a little sac?

Hi, maybe it's still early. You are not spotting or anything right? Did the doc give you any hormone pill to support?

They said that theres no abnormal growth in other areas (ectopic) so it could be just off dates.. im still too early too.. kinda weird cos I also feel that by 5 weeks at least a sac can be seen... but the gynae said its not necessary... it depends on when I conceived... will be waiting till further notice of 2 weeks.. hai!!!
I believe u are just too early . When i went for my first scan at 5 weeks theres nothing there too not even a sac. So gynae fix 2 weeks later to go back and we saw a tiny sac no yolk yet measure 5wk2d. Now im 7wk4d and hear the hb yst. I believe u can see the sac next scancrystaloves:875901 said:

hi everyone, 2 weeks ago tested i was pregnant and went to the gyane but couldnt see the sac everyone is talking about.
but he also confirm i am pregnant as he say there thickening so i'm scheduled to go back for a scan 2 weeks later which is tmrw!
hopefully i could see the little beanie if not i would be very worried.

did u manage to see already? when is your appt wor... I am sharing the same woes. . did my hcg blood test.. my level ia 750 dunno is it low lol
my appt is tmrw but the first appt 2 weeks back i didnt take blood test yet guess the gyane wanted to wait till the little beanie is out. crossing my fingers

Hi sexy mummies! I am still new here so here we go. (My EDD will be late Jan 2015).
This is my 1st pregnancy. I started out vigorous workouts such as carrying my husband as weights etc. & did not realise that I have already conceived. Missed my period & thought nothing about it & just continue my workouts. After 1+ week then tested positive on pregnancy test kit. Planning to go Polyclinjc to 2x confirm the next day. And you guess it, I did my workouts before I went to Polyclinjc & got am EARFUL from the doc LOL. I was ard 5 weeks along (counted from my last menses). They arranged my appt to KKH Private Suite, attached to Dr C K Khoo (as recommended by my sis) the next few weeks.
The next few days I went for brisk-walking and notice a spot of BLOOD. Went to KKH O&G, Dr scolded me for being 'rough' thus I have to lay off my activities til after 3 months pregnancy (exercising is very addictive). Doc did vagina scan & I saw my baby with the yolk sac & all, being fine. Doc gave hormone pills & after I stop my workouts, it all starts.
My MS is very very bad (but not to the extent of dehydration, thank God!). ALL food reject. Only accept RIBENA. Headaches & giddyness, I standby axe oil but DO NOT inhale directly, just rub against your temples. Still, I force myself to eat such as porridge, oats, mashed potatoes, etc. but still vomit. Felt 'useless & anorexic'. Le Husband helps to massage my back & legs. But God & Ribena pull me through. Slowly, I talk to baby that IF baby behaves, I will reward ICE-CREAM. And it works! Mums-to-be, maybe you can try this trick *wink*
After that it followed by sore breasts (massaging helps) & the CRAMPS!!!!! How I overcome the pain? Nothing. Just proper breathing & bitch-rants to Le Husband. Now he is my 'amah' hehehehehe. Enjoy all these because once you give birth, you will miss your pregnancy LOL. That is what other experienced mums told me.
Toilet visits are very frequent. That is normal. I visited my doc to ask if I got UTI & she conducted tests for me & its positive but its nothing to get worried about. She said its normal. Got some meds for it.
My appt at KKH started with an appt to AMC Clinic (inside Womens's Specialist Clinic) for baby scan.. Baby got fast heartbeat & both Le Husband & I saw the baby on the screen. Then we proceeded to KKH Private Suite & do some paperwork. Nurse asked if I would like to the the Down Syndrome test & I said NO. Its because Le husband & I had decided that whatever may come, we accept it. So I just did the blood test to test for Hep B, HIV, etc. check ht & wt, urine test & off to see my gynae. It costs around $300 plus for 1st visit. Nurse gave a list of private bed costs as I plan on natural birth & we decided to stick to B2 ward (gonna miss my gynae liao) since not planning to stay long in KKH; money can be spend on after baby's arrival. And so, consecutive appts are done til Sept & we see how it goes from there. Deng deng deng!!!
Lately I have weird thick white & yellow discharge & I went to KKH O&G & doc did vagina swab test & send it to lab for results. She said its normal occurence for expecting mums. Baby scan is ok. Today KKH called & said I have an infection in my vagina so went to collect antibiotics.
I hope we all gonna go through our pregnancy with positive mindsets. I felt abit down & feeling 'fat' because I stopped my workouts but my mum promised to take care of my baby while I sweat it out after my confinement. Get some support from your husbands. But sometimes, he can be an a**hole so talk to our mothers, grandmothers, aunts, friends on how they go through their pregnancy. And maybe you will find out that its not so bad after all. You will be proud of your baby.
PS: Have you seen the 8 gifts gahmen set aside for Jubilee babies? Can you believe it they miss out on something important? Formula milk. Haiya!
