Hi, since your gynae did not mention that you are overweight so u shld be still ok. Just eat healthy with more vege. Now my weight mantain so yours might be the same as mine.

oh i see... looks like most of you are around 300+g

mine is 20 weeks at 396g and it's a girl. my friend's one is 365g and her's a boy, 2 days EDD later than mine.

my tummy is considered small compared to hers. her's is like double of mine! she gained 7kg!!

I gained like only 500g but my gynae tell me good.. dun gain too much, easier to deliver, lesser stretch marks and also he instruct me to cut down all carbo but eat brown rice, wholemeal bread and avoid sugar food like durians.

Durians especially contained 90% sugar, big baby doesn't mean healthy baby.

I am going for TMC hospital visit this Saturday 16 Nov at 10am, anyone too?

Hi jadeite, i think everyone is different. I got a friend who is due this end mth, the tummy still look like 5mths pregnant only. Whereas i am in my 6mths now,i look like 7-8mths pregnant. As long baby is healthy, big or small tummy doesnt matter.Happy scanning for ur detail scan tomorrow. :) Btw 21weeks = 5mths1week. There are apps to download to our hp to monitor pregnancy weeks and days.

Normally tummy will be smaller when we conceived a boy boy. Those with ger tummy tend to show up earlier. Tats wat my mummy tell me. (Duno hw true woh) but mine is consider small nw, i can still wear my normal clothes.

Hehe ya I have a few apps but all track in terms of weeks not by months... Just got worried cuz people ask me how far along I am and when I say 5 months, they stare at my tummy in surprise. My tummy was quite big early on so it seems a bit like stagnated. My MIL even asked me if I'm sure I'm pregnant zzzz. Does everyone get along well with MIL? Mine is quite nice just not close at all. Hard to talk to each other cuz got nothing in common eh

Oh you all able to know yr baby weight? By scan it self ?!
i did not know that :)!i aalso heard from some ssaid that if
it is baby girl , then the tummy will be smaller and rounded
while some said boy will be bigger and shaper :)puzzled with all
these saying but most important is both mummy & baby are healthy .

ya through the detailed scan will know the bb weight.

my tummy is smaller and rounder than my friend and end up my baby weight is heavier than hers so not accurate to look at tummy's size leh

and yes, most impt is mummy and baby are healthy. small or big nvm. come out, feed until chubby can already :D

hello everyone! I am new to this forum! EDD is on 22nd march and i will be having a detailed scan this friday at 22 weeks. I hope that my boy will be of a healthy weight range and not too light!

Hi all

I went for my detailed scan yesterday. Having a Bb girl this time round. Weight estimated to be ard 450g.. sound abit big for a 21 week plus isn't it..

It's bigger than most of ours but as long as your gynae find that it's within normal range should be ok i guess?

most importantly, you are not gaining much weight so fast as GB might be a problem...

me too! i don't look like 5 months preggy...my tummy is not visible unless i wear fitted clothings...my detailed scan says baby is 305g..but my doc says he's growing well...maybe cos i'm petite in size...so baby won't be big too...

oh noo.. mayb I will ask my gynae tml when I see him for review...

1st time mummie tummy will look smaller esp if you expecting boy.

mine is #2 n is a girl, I tink I look like 6-7mth preggy as compared to my #1 time. :err:
