:wespinny:Hi Lizzy,
I am seeing dr. roland cheng from december 2011,as i have pcos and undergoing fertility treatment. he is a nice n polite doctor n specialises in infertility.
he gives lot of time to individual patients and is in no hurry, can ask him as many questions as you want.
his rates are also reasonable as compared to other private doctors.
hope it helps!!

Hi Felicity,

Me too! I went to Dr Shamini to confirm pregnancy cos GP was a bit concerned about my spotting.. Initially wanted to go to Dr Joycelyn Wong at ACJ clinic for the confirmation but she was fully booked till 6 Feb.. So went to Dr Shamini first to confirm pregnancy and 1st scan.. Will probably change to Dr Joycelyn Wong for next scan.. :001_302:

Dear Erlina,

I do experience that feeling too. Specially when I suddenly stand up from squatting position or roll over in bed suddenly. Was telling hubby that I feel so delicate now....

Hi ladies, would like to join this thread.. currently 6w5d. Is it too early to detect heartbeat at end of 6wks? Currently seeing Dr Yu Su Ling from SGH but maybe changing as location is too far for me. Anyone heard of Dr Lucky? I'm not sure if he/she but there is a clinic nearby bedok interchange & able to deliver @ Parkway East formerly known as East Shore.

For my case, the doctor was able to see the gestational sac in 5weeks when I had a checkup last Jan 15 via transV ultrasound. There's also heartbeat at that time however others tell me that if it has heartbeat then it should be more than 5 weeks at that time.

Hi,
I'm new. I went to see gynae last fri and initially could not see the sag but in the end managed to see one. However, was not convincing enough and so ask for beta hcg test. Results is 375.5.

Today, I went to another gynae nearer to my home n the gynae said can't see the sag at all. She also asked for the same blood test n my results turn out 449. According to the gynae, in order to see the pregnancy sag, beta hcg level shd be at least 2000. What worry us is that she mention that this number needs to double every 48 to 72 hours.

Both hubby n I are so worried to it might be impending miscarriage. We pray for best, as I've not encounters any spotting.

Anyone out there is experiencing the same thing? By right based on my LMP, the pregnancy shd be 6 weeks 1 day.

Hi all!

I'm new here! I've just found out i was pregnant through home pregnancy test kit last thursday. As i got irregular menses , ranging from 30-42 days, i tested on day 43. Went to see my GP and suggested doing a hcg blood test. At the same time was prescribed some Lacteol Fort sue to me having some diarrhoea. Results out on last sat showing i have hcg level of 14000, GP advised i should be around 6 weeks pregnant. So today i went to see a gynae for the first appointment. I am seeing Dr Irene Chua in Gleneagles (she was previously from KKH).

Dr Chua initially did an abdominal scan for me but she could not see the sac very clearly. After trying for awhile , she advised to do a transV scan on me just to confirm the sac is not in a wrong position that she fear. So i went ahead with it with much discomfort, we managed to see a clearer picture of a sac (looks like a blank space though). I really pray that i will see bb'a heartbeat soon! Doc estimated me to be at 5 weeks instead. She wants me to go back for another scan in 2 weeks time.

Doc advised me to be careful not to do vigorous exercise, no caffeine, no raw/uncooked meat or eggs. Trying to keep to it as alot of my common drinks outside are green tea, or ice lemon tea! lol. Been feeling some MS too, getting stronger day by day.. Feel abit nauseated, not much appetite, abit of cramps here and there too.. i hope everything gets better soon. My MS usually worsen in afternoon and swings on and off at night. Anyone share same experience?

Sorry for rattling off so much! Quite nervous and paranoid...

Cheers to healthy pregnancy!

i had some acne eruptions last 2 weeks but now clearing up and looking radiant... i'm loving it! nauseous feeling also reduced. but getting hungry ALL the time! which is worrying, because i'm already much overweight before preggy, now i'm fast growing as i can't stop eating, but shouldn't be growing this much for 9 weeks, omg what do i do with this excess layer of fats around my mid (above the womb and ab) *patpat wobbly tummy*

Just feel so not well now....

Hi Coriela,

Must hang on! I remember reading somewhere that the feeling will subside after 1st trimester .. For me I bought ginger tea.. It helps a bit (for now).. Now if I'm not feeling hungry, I'm feeling queasy.. Indeed not a very good feeling.. But it will be worth it wen you see e little one grow in you! :Dancing_wub:

Thanks Lingz for your encouragement. I cannot wait for the 1st trimester to be over. I still have so many weeks to go... sigh... Where do you get the ginger tea? I cannot seem to find any nice one.

Felicity, I am the opposite of you. I was hungry just now, so when to eat hor fun. Then after eating I am feeling so nausea again... I am stuck between being hungry and nausea all the time.

Rochelle, hcg level must be above 2000 to see a sac. Dun worry about hcg level as long it double every other day.
My cycle is 32-34days, however I tested bfp @ 35days which is pretty early. After beta taken, doc say hcg level is 2914 so was schedule for scan 2days later & we saw a sac. Tomorrow is heartbeat scan & I'm really excited!!!!

Hello Minakochang, Chewing gums helps? Really? But in Singapore not easy to get wor.

I have now just keep having sweet preserved fruits or the sour plums to try to curb it down. But still feel so terrible.

By the way, anyone here taking chicken essense during 1st trimester to help with the tiredness? Is it safe?

Hi Coriela,

I bought mine at NTUC, Gold Kili.. Natural Ginger with lemon.. They have ginger only without lemon too.. But kind of afraid I can't take the strong ginger taste so opt for the one with lemon.. :001_302:

Oh I also read eating plain crackers help.. Have not tried that though.. Now everything seems tasteless to me.. I think I wun b able to stand plain crackers.. Haha..
