think i saw a similar cooker thingy at OG but not sure is it's the same though or if it costs the same :) anyway i've got some herbs (to boil) + some liquid medicine to drink as well as tablets for a week :) works for me :)

I am now seeing sinseh at Clementi, Dr Tan Kian Sing. He is prescribing medicine in liquid and powder form. He is also doing accupuncture.

Hi babyfoss!

I went to another chinese doc of whom my parents often go to him. He gave me some liquid medication + pills to 'BU' my body for a week then i went back again to him and he gave me herbs to boil as soup. Ok lah rather easy just dump the herbs with some meat in a cooker or pot and boil for about 20mins..thanks anyway! :)

Which Sinseh you went to? Hows everything for now? There is still no good news for myself. I am giving myself to try for another one or two months with TCM.

i went to the one behind Chinatown point, think it's called wah tai medical hall or similar. We're trying IVF soon per Doc's advices. So meanwhile still taking soup as and when plus also eating more healthy. YOu? Jia You!

Oh i know this Sinseh, my mum went to him for treatment as well. Din't know he is good in fertility treatment. I am still pinning high hope on this TCM also cos IVF would be my very last choice. Really hope I can strike soon. Jia You too !

er.. i didn't say that he's good in fertility treatment but i supposed that they are the same, moreover my parents always go to him for chinese medicines so i go to him lor..for convenience sake lah :)

Hi Catherine, so far we have seen him for more than 6 mths but with no result still. So I have no comments about him. But I have heard some of his patient actually got pregnant after a few visits. I guess this is individual bah. His charges, i'm not too sure if it is considered expensive as I did not compare him with other physician.
He will prescribe medicine and do accupuncture also.

Hi babyfross, thanks for your comments. I do hear my neighbour talks about him. Just double confirm whether he is good or not. I have seen a few chinese doctor but no use. I've been to see my previous gynae still no use after having done the ultra-sound and medication(it costs me about 2k for almost 15 visits 'very expensive'). Very despair.:tsad:

Have you done any fertility check tog with your husband? For my case, it lies on my hus. That is why i choose to see Dr Tan for TCM as he is specialised in Male fertility treatment. But sad to say, there is still no improvement in him so i decide to drop out from TCM.

Hi Catherine, I am oso under tan Kian sing sinseh, i am with him for abt 2 years and got pregnant twice but one ended in miscarriage, and now had a beautiful DD with the help of him, I remember he say before, eat his medicine oso need to be fated, some ppl just eat a few times will get whereas some even few years oso can't so I think still depends on individual. Abt the cost , nt cheap too, one month I spent abt 200 on medicine and acupuncture, his medicine one packet $7 but need to eat abt 2 weeks then before ovaluation need another type of medicine, see him do acupuncture abt 3 times a mth total add up abt this amount. But still overall he is a gd sinseh, good luck to all the ladies here and baby dust to u and me!!

May I know if anyone have similar situations? Any recommendations?

Hi everyone.. had just started visiting the TCM a few weeks ago and is drinking their chinese herbs on a daily basis.. however, since i started taking their medicine, i missed my menses for this mth and had checked negative for pregnancy. Anyone have similar encounter? Thanks in advance.

Tan Qiu Lan is now working in a TCM Medical in Nex??

I was seeing Tan Qiu Lan from Teck Chua for a year and drank her brew medication but it didn't help. I heard she is no longer at Teck Chua Medical Hall @ Hougang Ave 5.

Tan Qiu Lan Description:
Pretty Old already
Plump
Speak softly and slowly

She is a nice lady but I think she just gives standard prescription for all her patients.

When did you see her ? Why did you say she just gives standard prescription ?

Hi all,

I am new here. was trying to conceive through TCM method cos should be cheaper than Western medication etc. Was wondering whether i should try Dr Tan Kian Sing at Clementi OR Dr Chen Qiu Mei in NTU/Chinatown. But heard review mention that DR Chen would want her patients to visit her fortnightly, what if one don;t have so much leave? I am lost and stressed now.

Anyone can advise and help? Or anyone had better chinsese sinseh for conceiveing to intro that we can visit even after office hour or on weekend?
