Hi!I called the KKH Billing Enquiries, and the lady told me that there will be government subsidy of $3K. I will confirm with him again on late Sep since I'll be getting my blood test result then.
As my menses just finished when I see Dr Loh for the 1st appt, I will need to wait till the 2nd day of my menses so that I can have my blood test done. So, my 2nd appt is 5 weeks laterOnly on the 2nd appt, I will know if I am going for IVF or there is other options.
From one of the member, the waiting time to do IVF seems to be 4-5 months for KKH. I'm not sure, as I just started consultation.
So even if I have a fixed specialist in mind, I still can use medisave for IUI cycles or govt subs for IVF?
there's no HL given for SO-IUI ... just one day MC for the day of procedure ....
day 2 start injection and c hw many injections u need.... avg every few days need to c doc to check on ur follicles
then on the day of procedure ...hubby need to go in the morning for sperm collection for washing...waiting time around 1-2hrs..
after tt procedure 30mins

Just want to share my joy. Today clinic called me and confirmed that I am preggie. I was tearsing when I told my hubby the news....

Hi viv
My activities as per normal.
1. 1day rest after IUI.
2. Took folic acid and Duphaston medicine after IUI.
3. Feel breast sore and sensitive 3days after IUI
4. D10 after IUI, blood test
5. D11 spotting
6. D12 blood test again(today) in the morning. Nurse called afternoon to confirm positive. Afternoon also got brown spotting.

My hubby sperm count 59.5m, they filtred left ard 5m( good sperms w heads and tails). Gynae said it's quite good. And mobility is 68%.
Swim time ard 10mins so just in time to swim to the womb.

I can understand the pressure we may face frm parents, friends or even frm ourselves as we continue to grow older physically each day n not younger, and the disappointments each mth when our menses come. Last mth hubby n I did our 1st IUI n not successful. Quite discouraged to hear frm people here that IUI success rates not high n also below 2% sperm morphology most likely nid ivf eventually. This sat we going for our 2nd IUI, wishing for the best! Baby dust to you all! Jiayou!!
