will the doc do any check for you before determine it's yeast infection or just based on our description? if yes, wat kind of check the gynae did?
The doctor will just look if the area is reddish, and also look at the discharge. My gynae only have to take a quick look to confirm it's yeast infection.

There was once it's not very obvious, he put something inside, took it out, and said it's "definitely yeast infection".

Lol sniff something?

My gynae doesn't check that area unless we suspect there's infection.. otherwise if routine checkup I'm not required to let him check my vagina part lo.. Hmm.

yeah, infact its more yellow than white, and quite a lot. Like toothpaste when u squeeze out like 2-3cm? Is tat like yrs?

the insert medi needs to use 5 days consecutively...as long as u clear it before u give birth will be fine. Baby is covered in a sac and will not be infected now. Only when they pass thru birth canal den will be infected.

If u r still worried can bring forward the appointment?

I had yellow discharge at 7 weeks and had a swab taken by my OBS. Turned out it was Group B Strep. Think it is best to get the discharge checked out. It might just be a harmless yeast infection.

yea wenz.. just remembered we have the same gynae.. hee.

I also find that it's quite embarrassing to be wearing panty liner then have to take off everything in front of nurse/doc. So usually when I go checkup I dont wear panty liner, hehe.
