Hi all! Anyone knows what time the weekday queue at ban choon chan starts?? I do know for the weekend queue, it starts as early as 7am. Any idea for weekdays?? Thanks in advance.

Actually its not difficult to brew the medicine given by Ban Choon Chan. They sell an electric kettle cum pot that you can use to brew the medicine. And all you need to do is to add water to the medicine and plug in the electricity (say in the morning before you go to work) and it will start brewing throughout the day. But it has an "auto-stopper". So when its time to cut off the electricity, the kettle will stop boiling and after a while when the medicine seems cooler, it will reheat the medicine again. So by the time you go home after work, the medicine is ready for drinking and it will still be warm.

Yes.. It's sold at Ban Choon Chan. They are stored at the cabinet where u collect the medicine. Just ask the lady boss.. Apparently it can be used to boil soup for 2 pax. And during the 2ww period, Sinseh may ask u to cook chicken essence and this pot will be very useful..

I am now seeing sinseh at Clementi, Dr Tan Kian Sing. He is prescribing medicine in liquid and powder form. He is also doing accupuncture.

Just want to share my experience with all of you. I have been trying to conceive for almost 4 yrs and is currently in my mid 30s. Out of the 4 years, I have see gynae at Bishan, n fertility specialist at Gleneagles (P.Chew, operated as doc says I have endo) and another gynae at Tanglin Shopping Centre(did 3x IUI). I have also seen traditional chinese medicine doc at Teck Chua Medical Hall for 1 yr brewing herbs for both husband and wife. (the traditional chinese medicine doc is from Tong Ji) I didn't managed to conceive.

I almost gave up. Then I turn to traditional chinese medicine under a charity organisation. I went to see the doc every Sat starting from July. I started to take medication but i found it too heaty cos doc says I am top heaty, bottom cooling (shang re, xia liang). I started acupuncture around Oct. I dragged my husband to do acupuncture too cos his sperms has poor movement. My husband did acupuncture around 3-4x, then in Dec 2010, I found myself pregnant.

Dear all,

Would like to ask for good traditional chinese medicine acupuncture recommendations... but also really not too expensive. Can't afford the "branded" doctors.
Pls read the 2nd part first.

If your gynae says that everything is alright and you do not need any op, you can go to any traditional TCM, most of them are able to 'get rid' of the cysts problem BUT most importantly, you MUST let them know your ACTUAL, CURRENT condition, which is after your gynae visit and they will advise you what to do or what type of med to prescribe you.

Not necessary to look for popular physicians, all of them should be able to help you as long as they are licensed. You may wish to ask around from friends or relatives which physicians not bad.

Since that was year 2008, you should have another check now to make sure everything is alright or you need to go for an op (usually it's a minor one, day surgery, need not be admitted).

I've been to see the JE doc near IMM for about a year, but it seems that while the cyst is not growing any bigger, it is not becoming smaller either. She has mentioned that I need not go for any operation... I probably should drop by soon to have a follow up as my last visit to her was in 2009..

Went for acpuncture for a year also the same thing.. so now really hope to find someone who can get the cysts in the ovaries to shrink since I have it on both sides.... Have an upcoming scan nxt month... Hopefully the cysts have not grown any bigger..

Since you've been seeing her for a year already, I would suggest you change another physician AFTER you chk your current condition with your gynae.

Continue to ask around for a good physician. Sorry I cannot help you on this.

Her fees are pretty affordable. 1 week's medicine plus consultation is less than $50. She was recommended by my friend and I'm now seeing her. My fren had a few friends who miscarriaged 2-3 times and after seeing her, all got pregnant less than 6 months and have stable pregnancies.

You can see the doc together with your husband. Best to bring all tests results that you have done such as hormones bloodtest, sperms test result, etc.
