Before she was administered "happydural", my wife was cursing & swearing ... so much so that she was FCUKing me in front of the midwife & nurses for causing her all the agony, when all I did was practise what was taught in the ante-natal class: hold her arms & tell her how much I love her & that I'm there to support her etc etc.
5 minutes after she was administered "happydural", she just sat up & said calmly: "Can you change the TV channel? Damned boring show leh" ... I'm like WTF, a total protrayal of heaven & hell leh!!!
For further comparison, we reached the delivery suite around 1pm & left for the wards around 3am the next day ... when wifey & son were pushed out of the delivery suite, the 3 other women who decided against "happydural" were still screaming like they were acting in a porn movie!! Best part is ... all 3 of them arrived at the delivery suite hours before we did.

On both occasions, my wifey remained 2 cm dilated for up to 2 weeks ... then, in Seamus' case, things just happened within 24 hours after that 2 weeks ... but, in Siggi's case, the dilation became 3cm after that 2 weeks & took another week before it became 4cm ... that's when we were told to go in & have Siggi brought out manually, if neccesary.
Think he heard what the gynae said ... so, suddenly things just happened within the next 24 hours.

I like that word... "happydural" Cos I was really happy after it was administered as well. Managed to hold up for 11 hours and only manage to get about 5cm dilated. Told hubby forget it, I want epidural like NOW! and about 3 hours later... Josh is born
My DH even said he was disappointed cos I didn't curse and swear at him... *roll my eyes* I told him that alot of men would probably think he is lucky...

same ar.. everyday busy with all the things in the house.
hmm.. nikki not so chubby now, no more michelin. now she's seems much taller than she should... should say she's more than half of my height to be exact. i'm goin to be the shortest in the house in no time.:001_302:
