OSCAR only test the possibility of ur bb having downs syndrome... It is not a conclusive test. It is a perfectly safe test coz it is not invasive... A scan is done to measure bb neck skin thickness & the nose bone + mummy's blood is drawn for some tests.

im lucky to read a post form mummy forum .. say tat gingo is bad for baby , i taking gingo everyday , after i read immediaterly stop it, really hope didnt harm my baby
can mummy tell me can i drink "flower tea" cos i really love green tea /chineses tea but cant drink rite ? so my friend say "flower tea like rose tea?

for Oscar, i think is abt 300++ if i'm not wrong.

for tea, i think can drink but better cut down. afterall tea has caffine.

dun worry... i am 36 and FTMTB too ... i didnt get any MS aka nausea and extreme hunger until 6-7 weeks ... prior to that when i didnt know i was pregnant everythings goes on as normal...so dun worry...have faith in this child of yours :)

yes, i too recommend that you do oscar too..cos of our age but dun worry.. it is just a test ;) and it aint that exp...$300+ it is anmio test that is exp cost >$1K but one only need that if the oscar test is not ideal

I didn't drink tea at all :(. This is why my friend say flower tea is ok to drink .. I just want to double comfirm b4 I drink lo.

Btw what's mean FTMTB ?

I could not give up my coffee even when i was expecting... Just stick to 1 regular cup of coffee or tea a day will be ok. Caffine inhabits calcium absorption so make sure to take ur calcium supplements at a different hour from ur coffee or tea.

Btw chocolate also contains caffine, so try not to take too much. Not sure how true but I read an article tt having a small piece if dark chocolate a day is good for ur heart & also the happy chemicals is good for bb too... the happy effect will lasts for the 1st few years of their lives. I live dark chocolate so I made sure to take dark chocolate everyday when expecting my 2nd bb. Hehe sometimes took a lill too much coz chocolate is so addictive!

if i ask Dr , im sure dr say ..ok ok everything also ok ..i did ask him about gingo , she say ok also , end up i read a post form mummy forum say gingo is very bad for baby .. this is why i think i should ask mummy here ( cos so many mummies here , everybody got their experience i better take advicce from here ..hehehe ) ..3 more day to go..... pray hard .............

some flower tea is not suitable for pregnant women...so its better not to drink flower tea

thank you all mummies here .... YES.. MY BABY hv heartbeat ...yeah yeah yeah ........ heartbeat rate is 127/min ... ( how about other babies ?? dr say my baby ok ... normal heartbeat rate )

Dr say hv to go bk after 3 week to check baby stable or not ...
so pls pray for me ....... n i will pray for all pregnant mummies here

Now i know pregnancy is all about wait wait wait ...worry worry worry ..n pray ...PRAY PRay...
Today Dr gave me folicacid n neogobion .. no more duphaston ( but only left 4 tables so i will continue till it finish eheheh ) today dr charge is $S100
according to dr 11-13 week i can take OScar test it cost $280
or wait till 16-20 weeks take amnio test $ 750-800 ( more acurate )


im so happy today ... so count down for 3 week .. hope my baby can go thr all ....

thank mummies here ...

well so far i find pregnancy not just a waiting game but also every couple of weeks anxiety attack...

1) the heart beat
2) oscar
3) detailed scan
4) OGTT
5) Strep B

not sure any more cos i just passed stage 4 only :tlaugh: and just stage 4 already give me nervous breakdown:tlaugh:

Wow... GreAT. Congrats... Can understand that excitment, I was like that too when I had my first after the MC. So happy for u.

Dun think too much and have a great pregnancy. God will see u thru.

Haha... There r more to spend. I remembered I spent almost $15k for my first one and I only stayed in a four bedded in thomson. I got to go for hormones injection every 3 days n each jab cost me $100 till I passed 12 weeks. :) however, it's all worth it. My eldest already 4 :)

enjoy your pregnancy :)
