Dragontail and eggscatcher83..tks for ur words and encouragement...me hv pulled myself back up...i knw this journey ain't gonna be easy for me...but i will still persevere on... :) maybe rest for another cycle then decide ba...

Wanna try staycation for my next cycle... lol...relax my body and mind...

hugs yukki. Take it easy and rest a cycle before what to do next. I understand that if failed SO-IUI cycle, you gotta rest for a month before proceed to the next cycle.

Will you be visiting your dr for review? I'm on SO-IUI this cycle, looks like my IUI will be on this Friday. Don't want to put too much hope cuz i'm afraid that the greater hope that i put on this SO-IUI , the greater the disappointment if results turn otherwise. For the couple who have unexplained infertility, the journey will be much tougher than others. So we must not give up! I am looking at max 2 cycles of SO-IUI , if still negative might want to proceed to IVF :).

Yes cherriejoy...my last failed so-iui cycle in may i did rest for one cycle which is june before i start my 2nd cycle in jul...this sat will be gg for blood test to test for beta...but i guess it's gone case for me since ytd bfn when i poas...

Will be seeing doc tis sat after blood tests results out on e same day too...not sure mentally how much can i endure...but it's kinda depressing though....jia you cherriejoy...just relax...the iui process is quite fast... ;) and best of luck to u...hope u strike once!

Hihi!! I'm new here. I'm ttc too. Have been trying for coming 2 years! Doc suggest me trying So-iui. I intend to give it a try. Will be doing iui coming Monday. I'm a bit scare n worry..

Jia you and no doubt i was abit worried before starting my iui...but actually the whole process is quite fast and okay for me
..note: my pain endurance level is v low or equivalent to zero....hahahahahaha :D

Dun mind me asking...where will u be doing ur iui? ;) and what medicine and injectables did doc suggest to u?

I have a friend who told me she n her husband had unexplained fertility problem. So I ask her did u measure temperature m track ovulation. She say no n I was very surprised. N she ask if she can go straight ivf. I was stunned.
Did not do any homework n hope that baby will come.

Agreed that we need to relax n not be stress. We all have chance, just in queue for the chance to come. No stress.

Mintminer...agreed that more or less we hv to do some homewrk..but guess the best solution is still to relax...

Me nw still keeping fingers crossed...and at same time wanna try nxt cycle not to do anyting...just temp and bd as and when we like...heck care for 1 cycle... (provided if e witch came looking for me but i hope not)...

Yukki, Dr Henry Cheng from Bishan a Women specialist now call Astra.
He give me Clomid. Cos he say I'm able to ovulate so I won't need any hormone jab. I need to go and see him on D13 to check on my egg size n if I do have a lots of eggs which my hormone not high to ovulate them he will give me a hormone jab.

Oooooo...icic...me was prescribed femara tablets and puregon injections...then need to do scan to check for any cysts and also check egg growth...then will decide on which day to inject ovidrel to push for ovulation then do iui the following day...due to my 1st cycle egg grow too fsst i was given an injection to stop e growth...after e iui i wss given duphaston and utrogestan tablets to take daily too....

For my 2nd cycle of so-iui...the only diff ting is i'm only given puregon injections, ovidrel and then next is iui. Afterwhich i need to take duphaston and utrogestan tablets daily.

The eggs will grow too fast? Beginning when I try Dr Henry will ask me go back on D13 to check my eggs. Usually the size is jus nice. I had a friend who did iui in JB she told me she didn't take any medicine after the iui. She just need to self jab hormones one week before her ovulation. She got pregnant after her second iui. That why she suggested me to go try iui. She ask me not to stress myself too much after iui. Must relax. Haiz.. How to relax when you know the mense date reaching soon..

Overseas ART are getting common. My uncle is planning to fly to Bangkok for ivf. Can also choose gender. I'm sure he will pick boy because he already has a daughter.

Welcome Tasha!! I'm on SO-IUI this cycle and tomorrow is the IUI day. That's nice that you can ovulate with clomid. For my case, my body don't respond to clomid hence i am on injectable. Yesterday night i was on pregnyl jab to trigger ovulation and today is the happiest day i've ever with OPK. Finally can see 2 dark lines on my OPK test strip. Can you share with us what is your follicles size now and lining?

Yukki, sorry i not good at interpreting bbt chart. You are still considered in for this cycle this your AF arrive right?

DT, today you went for scanning? How's the scan?
