There is additional charge from $300-$500 ( if not wrong). As for my case is additional $300 charge due to emergency change to c section.
we're with dr chen as well. first few visits is around 100+ with medicine. scans are included i think.
package will be $700 12th weeks onwards.
anyway for clinic info, can always google their number and call the nurse to ask..
or walk there to see again if happen to go market makan.

cos recently i think he need to rush to hospital for delivery.
my wife just gave birth last thurs by him, stayed at the hospital for 3 nights..
on my wife ward lvl, dr chen himself had 4 patients there all at the same time..
was like wow, the rest of the doc mostly all one patient..
thanks! yah during his 12-2pm break he did 2 csect. my baby was delivered at 2pm+ , thats why sometimes hes abit
late cos he need to rush back. i dunno how he find time to rest and eat.

This is my first baby, he didn't told me my placenta is low until i asked him twice...
Usually he won't tell me much abt my condition or baby's condition , every time he only said " normal" " congratulations" etc
same here, i did my detailed scan the week before and wasn't told of my low lying placenta till the nurse showed me the report whilst paying for the fees. i got a shock that dr chen didn't reveal this to me then. the week after, i went back and asked him abt it, and he assured me that for my situation, it is not as major therefore he didn't point out to me earlier.
i'm hoping the next visit i could ask for more scan pics. he only gave me 2 copies during my detailed scan. sad.
i seeing Dr Chen for my #2 now. during detail scan he told me abt low placenta. maybe mine is very low tat why he told me. anyway i happy w/ him cos after my 1st csection delivery, my wound scar is very nicely done. i got problem w/ bf n turn out to be milk cyst, he actually arrange a appointment for me w/ his breast doc friend at mount A, i got the operation done on the same day. thks to Dr Chen i dun need to delay the suffer. even during my visit to the breast doc,Dr Yang, he mention to me Dr chen is very concern on my case, will ask him abt my condition n recovery.

Is there anyone with recent experience with Dr Chong? Is he an elderly Dr or young young Dr?
may I also know how are his charges like? And is it buy package cheaper to see him for consultation?

Opps...I just realised that I keyed Dr Chong instead of Dr Chen.
I read on forums and some said he's located at Blk 103 Yishun while others said Blk 239. May I know which is the exact or he got 2 clinics? or is there 2 Dr Chen?

So far I know there's only 2 gynaes in Yishun. One is Dr. Chen in Chong Pang and one is Dr Hii in Khatib.

Dr. Chen has a fatherly figure, very nice and friendly man. He will tell you what to do and what to avoid and also explain to you what you will expect in your current trimester. He is also very patient to listen and reply me whenever I have any questions. Expecting my no. 2 now and I still go back to him cause I feel comfortable with him and I believe I'm in good hands. The only downside is, he is always very packed and he no longer open in the night. Even with appointment, I'll have to wait about an hour. He will only sign up a package with you (about $700) when you are week 16. So anything consultation before that have to pay about $100 - $150 per visit (consultation + ultrasound + supplements). The best thing is he can do detailed scan and 3D scan for you in his clinic instead of going to the hospital at a slightly cheaper rate if I'm not wrong.
As for Dr. Hii, I went to him many years back and I personally dont't feel comfortable. So not much comments.

Just informed by Dr Chen's staff that Dr Chen will be opening a 2nd branch at Mt Alvernia Medical Centre D from 18th July. The charges will be the same as Yishun branch. He will be at the Yishun branch in the mornings, and at the Alvernia branch in the afternoons, including Saturdays.
