I cannot go in the morning to Dr Su, so usually I go on Monday evening lesser people. Unless no choice then will go on weekends. I don't mind the wait if she can nurse me to good health which is important for conceiving.

@shez
maybe you can get your hubby to help u to get bbt. my hubby is a light sleeper so i got him to poke the thermometer into my mouth and record.

Ladies, definitely is da wu long!!!

Will try the press and hold. I think I have been too stressed about BBT.. I worry that I oversleep.. In fact, last few nights i have been dreaming about it! That I overslept, that I already taken my temperature etc! LOL... think too much already...

@quincy1986, won't get hubby to do it for me.. We have an unspoken agreement.. Every morning, I will wake up first to get ready, and he can sleep for an extra 30 mins. And when he drives us to work, I get to sleep during that 30 mins journey.. :) He's a terrible sleeper, and usually has difficulties going back to sleep after he is awake. While I can sleep anytime anywhere... So I just need to OPEN my eyes, and switch on the light to take the reading.. (but if press and hold works, then I don't care le la!! Haha)

I used preseed too...used to follow instructions and insert the thing in before BD. Actually the proper way to do is to wait for 5 mins before BD to let the lubricant "coat" your entire uterus so that it can become more effective. I don't do that now becos want to BD must wait...kills all the mood....I just use externally now....in fact, I have used up 3 tubes le still no result...I don't think it works for me....sob

quincy ur hubby so nice lor.. haha mine sleep like pig.. only awake when i box him (really hard) or his work HP rings >.>

poohy: late 2 weeks liao eh... my last cycle late 1 week i go urine test neg (faint positive on sensitive hpt) that why i go take blood test.. its an experience for me n now i more verse when next preggy comes in terms of going to see the GP or polyclinic..

come to think of it i think i get 6th sense that previous one may not be good news (chemical preg) thus that period i not really like hit jackpot then overly happy.. then the toot husband when i told him no more baby he only comfort me say we will try again, didnt think its a MC -.- make me so angry must tell him straight in the face then he will know those tooty types.. after few rounds of arguing he is helping me more stuffs in household chores le (thankfully and i can rest more these 2 weeks)

Ladies, I'm feeling a bit weird today...my hands and feet were very cold and I'm very bloated...I suspect AF coming but it's just only 5-6DPO now...unless my luteal phase is really short, I don't think AF will come...plus I've been peeing more than usual....

@littlehamster, I can so relate to what you've shared. My last mc I also felt it wasnt gonna make it. I think woman's hunch is an amazing tool. And I also snapped big time at hubby when I was resting during the mc. It was almost like I had to wear a tag "I just had an mc" to remind him I need help around the house. He did apologise and I guess sometimes it's really a man's thing that they aint as sensitive as you like them to be ideally.

So to recap, for preg blood test, isit do it at GP or polyclinic?

@TVH early preg symptoms are very weird one...and the fact that you go toilet more, it's a good sign. I know we cant be sure at this point. Just let time tells :)

in chinese medicine pov, cold hands and feet are not a good sign. sorry to scare u. it may mean your womb is cold. u need to take yomeishu or DOM.

@TVH - Suggest you take it slow. Don't gan chiong. Don't overthink. If you so gan chiong, the beanie might be gan chiong and you would want a calm beanie to happily roll and stick right? Try Yoga for fertility poses - Very easy can just do at home and y'know, it makes you feel better during the 2ww. Project Baby TV - Brenda Strong, Yoga 4 Fertility - YouTube. Also - Don't do any major exercises - No jumping around dancing etc. Walk on threadmill (normal walking speed) is ok. Simple weights is ok. No stomach crunches. Oh and no BD now that you're in 2ww! that's what my gynae told me.

@poohy - Erm - I know gynaes do blood test. You do in the morning and you can collect in the afternoon. If you want, maybe you can consider visiting a gynae to really get a good check on what's the problem (2 weeks delayed period is a good sign if you're preggers but if you're not - it's not a good sign shoudl get it checked by a specialist). It's not cheap but for me - I think I would rather get the problem settled once and for all then think here and think there?? just a suggestion lah.

Ya - preseed spoils the mood. hahah you know how I get my dear excited about using pre-seed? I kinda told him that 'ooo it turns me on cuz it's cold.. and when he puts his thingy in - it is warm so how exciting' - I mean that's how I felt the first time but my dear thinks it's that 'feeling' every time so hahah he gets turned on with me using pre-seed. Aiya I figured whatever he doesn't know won't hurt. Already I think pre-seed spoil the rhythm so better if he feels good about using pre-seed. Hahahah!

Wa - I gotta do my own BBT...

fertility poses...hmm...interesting...i go home and try :)

Really? Gynae also advocates no BD during 2ww? I thought only TCM would advise that...but what is the reason the gynae gave? I'm v curious to know what impact doe sBD have during 2ww...

poohy, 2 weeks is really late....i agree with littlej that it's better going to gynae to check once and for all....he can do a much more thorough check than GP....and some GPs are not trained in gynaecology...so the advice they gave you are just very general advice....do visit a gynae as soon as you can...

Hi ladies, I am new here! trying to concieve-ing too!

Me: 34
Him: 33
trying to concieve-ing since: Jan 2012 on and off, not consistent. Only recently we started to get serious. :nah:
Have tried: Nothing
Trying now: Herbs from Ban Choon Chan traditional chinese medicine
Going to try: dont't know yet :shyxxx:
Next open window: This week :tlaugh:

We do not use any birth control since day 1 of being married, but I never got pregnant. Getting kind of worried now as bio clock is ticking and parents, in-laws starting to nag... We just started this month with herbs from Ban Choon Chan! Queued 5hrs and got to see Dr, who felt my pulse and said I had weak ovulated egg, and my womb is a bit "cold". He said my hubby's sperm count is low. So gave us packets of herbs to use for this month... hope I have good news soon!

It is encouraging to see so many of you also TTC-ing, I don't feel alone.... it has been quite difficult to see couples who married after us got pregnant one by one. Haiz!

i did blood test at GP.. u can ask the counter first if they do those tests or not before take queue number.. polyclinic only urine test and their test is the standard one not the sensitive one

poohy: 2weeks late is quite long. dont stress..

preseed wise, i insert some before bd-ing (as per the instructions), hubby dont know anything.. usually i wait for him in bed first while he finish busy his work.. once i didnt put then quite dry, i asked if he wanna put some at tip of his, he saydont want to use -.- then he just go in -.- then end up abit pain haha..

welcome risty! dont feel discouraged. eat more "Pu" and keep urself warm

@littlehamster ok noted! Nx time if preggie I will also go do blood test at gp at early stage. Then at about 8 weeks then see gynae to scan. I have a box of progesterone so im just thinking might as well pop them in till I see gynae. In meantime, yah I need to cook a beanie first :p

Welcome risty. Dont be dishearten. The time will come when it is right. Meantime maybe you can consider drinking Dom (it tastes horrid but no choice) and wear socks while sleeping. Actually our feet are pretty much neglected but yet the condition of them really does affect our general health. I have had fallen sick before when I was wearing wet socks and shoes for half a day. So imagine if we keep them warm and nice while snoozing, it should keep all your system circulation in good checks.

just a note: sometimes the hcg levels may be too low.. so normally do one time not enough, what we wanna look at is that over time hcg levels rise up as per expected (double from 2-3days? cant rem) then is considered normal preggy.. hcg less than 5 = not pregnant.

last cycle my blood tests on friday is 20+ (which i got feeling is too low although the GP says it could be still early 4.5weeks then) then on monday test again only 27.. too small a jump thats why KKH doc confirm is chemical preggy..

Hey tvh - eh I never ask gynae why cannot bd. he said cannot so never did it. Hahaha after the frenzy of making out during the o week- guess can take a break?!?

Hmm my own theory is cannot bd cuz don't wanna disturb the flow inside. Scarcely swimmer get confused??? Hahaha and to keep still I suppose??

Oh ya wear socks! Me wear socks every night and long pants (if have) or those 3/4. My old man says I look very unsexy in bed now. Hahaha.

Hello risty!

Dr Su keeps telling me to wear socks and long pants to sleep. I specially bought a pair of compression socks and a pair of long pants just for this.
I wore the socks one day...half an hour took them out...too uncomfortable...
As for the long pants, I have not worn even once...
I'm used to wearing singlets and shorts at home...suddenly ask me to cover myself with so much material, I find it very obstructive...
